How much does it cost to manufacture clothing in India?
There's no single price. Like a car, it all depends on the product. What really drives the cost of a textile production in India.
"How much does a production in India cost?" It's like asking how much a car costs. A car that runs, or a Mercedes? In textiles it's the same. There are so many factors that a ready-made answer would be wrong.
What drives the price
- The fabric. Often the biggest part of the cost. Standard cotton or certified organic, light jersey or heavy denim: the price can double.
- The style. A plain t-shirt is nothing like a lined shirt or a worked dress. The more sewing operations, the higher it goes.
- The finishing. Hand embroidery, printing, washes, woven labels, packaging. Every addition has a price.
- The quantity. The larger the run, the lower the per-piece cost. Development spreads over more pieces.
How we price it
We don't give a random price. We start from your style, your fabric and your quantity. We make a sample, then we price it precisely, line by line. You know exactly what you pay for.
The right move
Send us a sketch or a reference, the fabric you have in mind and the quantity. We come back with a real price, not a made-up range. Asking for the "average price" of a production starts from a false base: the right price is the price of your product.
