## Founders

- Nil Gandhi — French, founder of SWP. Grew up in Paris, master's from EBS (European Business School), worked in international trade in Germany, Thailand and Morocco before creating SWP in 2010.
- Shruti — Indian, designer and advocate for women artisans. Worked on sourcing for brands such as The Body Shop, Pottery Barn, Woolworth, Williams Sonoma, Country Road and IKEA, then joined the SEWA movement (Self Employed Women's Association) for the rights of home-based women artisans. Joined SWP in 2016.
